WWE possible heel-turns that should happen!

Last night we talked about WWE-prospects that should be pushed post-Wrestlemania. Today another hot topic fans like to discuss, are face and heel-turns that the company should consider making. Some say that WWE does not have enough face-top stars. I think that Ryback, Sheamus, Chris Jericho (part timer), John Cena and Alberto Del Rio pretty much cover the amount of top "babyfaces" this company can have at present time. Yes Randy Orton should have been mentioned there to, but we will discuss him later. So what does it mean to make a heel-turn?

To make a heel-turn simply means that your character takes a bad change. He can either turn on his tag-team partner, or he could simply enough turn on the crowd. The Rock had his epic heel-turn some time before he faced Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania 18. He was a heel until the end of 2003. His last run with WWE ended as a face run, where he teamed up with Mick Foley (before he came back again).

So which superstars should take a heel-turn this spring/summer, to reinvent their careers or characters?

1) Randy Orton
Randy Orton has been the hot topic within internet-communities for a while now. WWE has been teasing a heel-turn for the Viper since the new year began. By letting Orton turn heel, WWE has the opportunity to create another top-star who can battle the faces in main-events. Orton has been stale and uninteresting for far to long now. Last year he lost way to many matches, which made him look weaker and weaker every time he stepped in to the ring again. "The Viper" was considered the second biggest guy in the company for two years (behind John Cena). But at the fall of 2011 Orton slowly slipped out of the top-card, until he was stuck in the mid-card (which he still is). Orton has even been pinned two years in a row at Wrestlemania. At Wrestlemania 28 he lost cleanly to Kane, and this year he was the one who had to take the fall against The Shield. Orton has done what he can as a top "babyface". Let him have another run as a top heel-star, and introduce him for the WHC-title picture again. By turning Orton heel, you have the opportunity to make some "babyface" turns (Ziggler, Cesaro, Barrett and so on).

2) Santino Marella
For a long time Santino Marella has been the "comedy-guy" in this business. He does a great job to as this fun player. But personally I think that Santino is way to good to be running around playing "Fred Flintstones". He is an amazing in-ring performer (But his gimmick forces him to use a limited moveset), and he is great on the mic if you give him the opportunity. A heel-turn by Marella could help the mid-card a lot. WWE is missing a serious and competitive mid-card. This has been the case for far to long now. The only way mid-card players can gain credibility again is by making them look stronger. And what better way to do that by giving stars like Santino a better and more serious gimmick? His career could get a big boost out of a possible heel-turn, and it could help mid-card "babyfaces" look stronger and more competitive again.

3) Kofi Kingston
Every year Kofi Kingston looks like he is ready for greatness, hell the WWE even makes us believe that they are building him for the main-event scene. But for the past three years, every time Kingston has been pushed towards the main-event scene, the company has dropped the ball on him. The fall of 2012, Kingston was pushed as a top-star in the mid-card scene. He won the IC-title against The Miz, and he looked to be ready for the main-event scene. But then he lost the title to Wade Barrett, and ultimately he became a jobber for everyone. He has even lost his connection with the fans to, which is so sad. The only way Kingston can gain credibility again is by a character-change. He should do a heel turn in the near future, and then reinvent his career. A heel and aggressive Kofi Kingston could help the mid-card scene gain credibility again. He could also move toward the main-event scene, and eventually become a top heel in the business. His ship has sailed as a face, there is no chance in hell that Kingston can find his way to the main-event scene without a character-change.

Who do you think should do a heel-turn this year? Give me your opinions in the comment section bellow. Tomorrow I will talk about possibly heel-stars that should make a "babyface" turn.

Have a great one!
